Miker films

site de rencontre entiГЁrement gratuit pour les femmes I’ll admit it, when I get a cycling magazine the first thing I do is look at the pictures. I’ve always assumed that the photographer really got a “lucky shot” when I see the dirt flying and the perfect look on the rider’s face. Thing is, that’s not the way it really goes. Turns out those shots aren’t “lucky” after all.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Jason-gets-a-different-angle.JPG association rencontres francophones lille Recently, I had the good fortune of being involved in one of these fancy photo shoots. Yes, Salsa was coming to my home town and I was tagging along, serving as a guide of sorts. My task was simple, think about and suggest where the best photos could be obtained. Well, this seems easy enough, but I don’t think like a professional photographer. My thoughts are consumed with the way a trail flows and cleaning that tough section. Rarely, if ever do I think about the way the light hits a trail or where the best “long shot” will come from. Just like you, I “burn” laps until my workout is over and then I head to the trail head for my spin home.

site rencontres amicales entre femmes   halle saale sie sucht ihn I had no idea how much there was to consider when heading out for a “shoot”. I wondered why Pete Koski, Salsa engineer and serious "shredder" was laying a whole bunch of shirts out on the dirt parking lot. Ignorantly, I asked myself, "why does he have so many shirts with him?" And, "why is placing them so carefully in the dirt?" As it turns out, color matters when considering photos that may end up in magazines. As this donned on me I began to consider my own state of dress, did I look o.k.? Was I the ugly duckling who just wouldn’t fit in? I mean the only clothes I brought with me were what I was wearing. I reminded myself that I was a “bit player” in this larger scene.

find more Finally, we’d hit the single track on our way to the coolest locations my local trail had to offer. Hansi Johnson, my region’s IMBA representative and I bounced ideas of the best locations for photos off each other andit was nice to know we were both on the same page regarding the settings that would exploit the beauty of Duluth, Minnesota.
http://www.pavegreen.org/vioper/5667 Once we were riding I was ready to start the rippin’ and listen for the shutters. This is where I was wrong. You see, that just isn’t how it works. It wasn’t long before we were at the first location and I was told to “get comfortable”. Then, it hit me. This is a process that requires a great deal of patience. It was an easy adjustment to make as I could see the genuine excitement on the Salsa crew’s face as they contemplated their upcoming shots. I placed my rig off to the side and watched it all unfold. The care and attention to detail was testament to all that Salsa is. There’s something special about watching people who are passionate about their work ... do their work.

http://www.15m-acoruna.com/?privetys=hay-un-hombre-que-esta-solo-acordes&ab8=ab It wasn’t long before the rhythm of the day was on me. It went something like this, ride a 15 second piece of trail, stop and listen for direction from photographer, ride 15 second piece of trail, stop and listen for direction from photographer, repeat.
msn dating match.com A couple things I learned from this 13 hour day were that my local trail is so much more than killer single track, the Salsa crew know how to make the business they’re in just as fun as it is for those of us who ride their bikes. Oh, and one more thing, that guy on the cover of your latest magazine probably rode that section of trail 25 times before that picture was taken.
My advice to you is this, take a break from “burning laps” and conduct your own photo shoot. You’d be surprised at what you find, I guarantee it will be more than great trails.
